I’m glad the day is finally over, if anything can go wrong it well and truly has.

My dog managed to run through my legs just as I had picked up my lovely cup of tea and knock me with enough force that I propelled the piping hot brew across the room and splattered my K.I.P. Needless to say the whole thing was ruined and I had take it off the needles, just as I was starting the straight rows and it was beginning to look more and more like a clapotis.
But who could stay mad at this adorable face.

I couldn’t face casting the same yarn on again. I’m incredibly fickle and I just couldn’t see myself finishing it any time soon if I had to start again from scratch, so I cast on using the Noro Silk Garden Lite I received in the post the other day!

I’m loving the colours right now and I can’t wait to see the whole thing when it’s finished. The yarn is a lot softer than I thought and there’s loads of it!

And I found my Jordanna Paige bag at last, unfortunately it’s been wrapped up so I won’t be able to see it until christmas day. Mam’s only gone and hidden the wrapping paper she’d used so I couldn’t open it and re-wrap it. Mother’s are very crafty!
